what is the best launcher for the incredible. i have tried adw (which i love the custom settings you can use but i get lag time with it) launcher pro, open home, even quickdesk which is cool but not customizable. i switched back to open home, i found that has the lowest lag for me plus you can edit faunts and icons. does anybody know of one that has the features of all of them in one? edit icons faunts how many icons on a page etc. just wondering if any one has found one that does not get the lag time with sense and does it drain battery more to run two launchers at once. i wish we can customize sense more that would be sweeeet.
i just use sense. however, i do use an app called multicon. it gives you a 4 to 1 ratio for icons. so you can have 64 icons on one homescreen.
sense can't be customized to the extent that you are prolly thinkin. however, with 7 homescreens, multicon (and other apps), live wallpapers, etc....i feel like i have totally cusomized it. widgets, apps, and settings are all that i've changed though. there are also "app organizing" apps. i use "apps organizer." it has different icons for different types of apps. so i have a picture of a joystick on my main homepage. i tough it and it opens a screen with ALL of my games. just one example. i use multicon on one homescreen to anble placing 64 apps on one screen, etc, etc. to me, that's prety customizable. i don't know how much resource/battery that alternative launcher apps use? i suspect not much? i've just not had a need for them. live wallpapers are fun too (had mario bros for a bit.....it was fun to watch the game running in the background for a while).
