cannot view pdf attachments

I just purchased the Droid and am pretty happy with it so far. However, it does not display pdf attachments to my hotmail account. Although it diplays an "open" button and says "fetching attachment" when I press it, it then tells me that it cannot display the attachment. I've noticed a similar e-mail from a yahoo account user. Is this being fixed? I can open Word and Excel attachments just fine....

Pretty sure you need an app to view PDFs on the droid. Try IcViewer.

I have tried downloading viewers (although not yet documents to go because I don't want to buy it unless I'm sure that it will work). The pdf file will not display. I suspect that it has something to do with the hotmail account and the way the pdf viewer does or does not interface with it.....?

the documents to go provides a free edition. the free one wil allow you to only view documents. it is the one that costs money that will allow you to edit and create those documents. also allows you to use/create powerpoint documents

I am not only seeing this problem but also cannot read attachments from Word with the Email client. However the Gmail client works fine for both pdf documents and word documents send to my gmail address. What could be wroing with Email?

im having the same problem viewing PDF attachements using my other email account. it works great with Gmail, but i dont use Gmail.
