contacts numbers

after i had all my contacts numbers downloaded, there are some that need to be deleted, numbers not contacts...where is the delete button ??   been going goofy trying to figure this new toy out...

If you find the contact you want, long press it (or select it, then hit the menu key), choose edit contact, scroll down to the number you want to remove and there should be a red x next to the number. Press that and the number will be removed. Or, just manually delete the number by selecting the text field and deleting.

Go to the contact who's number you want to delete. Tap on the name (not the photo). Next tap on the menu key and select "edit". Tap on the dash, and it will turn into a waste basket. Hit the waste basket, and the number will disappear. Then hit "Save." and you're all set.
