you mean the little red thing with a few lines in it or the blinking line? my advice use the speak to type that comes on the phone its pretty good and faster than typing unless you talk alarmingly slow

Oh, you mean the scroll bar. I don't think there is an option to disable it. I generally just flick the text area to scroll completely ignoring that bar. I think the only way to get rid of it is to use one of those text message apps that suit your needs. But then there could be issues that you don't like about those.

lol love the graphic there.... i sorta of like it about 5 percent of the time but in general i dont even notice it. i wish there was a hard button to bring up and dismiss the keyboard i know sometimes in landscape it gets in the ways when doing forms since it takes up the whole screen ....any apps for a transparent keyboard that would kinda be ...awesome lol you know where you can see through the letters but they are dark enough you dont missread them. or a quick sywpe toggle for those longer words or email addresses.
does anyone know of a setting of keyboard app to have a keyboard with the row of numbers on it so i dont have to go back and forth it seems to get a bit of a hassel as a lot of tracking info and emails combine the two and its slows things down jumping back and forth..
