need a custom ringtone. i only want ringtone on certain contacts. sony got a very simple settings and blackberry . why does droid 2 dont have this feature.
You can always find a silent ringtone for everything else and through each contact assign a different call ringtone for that person. Text notifications can't be customized per person.

If you use a 3rd party app such as handcent or chomp, yes you can.
