Is there a way to date stamp photos when they are uploaded in the computer

The camera has the date included in the default name it gives to each photo you take.  Therefore, after you download the photos to your PC if you only change the first part of the default name you will have the date as part of the photo's name.

Other than that if you want the date stamped on the photo itself I suppose you would have to do that yourself in your PC using the appropriate software to print it directly in one corner of the photo.
