deleting ringtones

how do you delete a ringtone that was downloaded but does not work - ie plays the default ringing tone - I down loaded several ringtones but none of them play the original song - when selected it just plays the song or ringtone that is selected as the default ringtone

Downloaded ringtones go onto your sd card so you can delete them using your favorite sd card access method, either connection via usb, a card reader or a file explorer app from the market. Or, you may possibly be able to see them with your music app and delete them there.

Before you delete those non-working ringtones, have you tried using RingDroid to make the tunes into ringtones?
