does HTC Incredible have the same FREE MiFi as Palm Pre Plus?

I love the specs on the HTC Incredible and see it does have mobile access connectivity (i want to be able to use my phone to create a wi-fi hotspot for my laptop wherever i go), but do we get this for FREE like the Palm Pre Plus, or is there a charge for this usage?

Unfortunately the 3G Mobile Hotspot promotion is only for the Palm Pre Plus & Palm Pixi Plus.

That is only for tethering (ie: using your cellphone as a USB internet modem for your laptop). However, you could probably use your laptop as an ad-hoc connection/access-point for one other Wi-Fi device.

 

edit: You'd also need to buy the tethering internet plan from Verizon to use it I believe. The smartphone unlimited data doesn't include tethering.
