how do I transfer photos and videos to computer with cable - I downloaded Backup Assistant Plus.
I would plug it in, when the option to open the device as a drive comes up, navigate to the phone, like you would any other external drive and search for you pictures. Then it should be drag and drop from there. Hope this helps

I would be glad to help you with transferring pictures from the droid to your computer using a USB cable. Here's a link on how to place your device into mass storage mode:

Please follow the steps in this link. Your computer should now recognize the device as a external drive. You can now drag and drop the pictures from your device to your computer. You should not have to use any other applications to transfer the pictures.
