Hi,
My phone would randomly scroll around, click on random apps, click on the contacts while I am texting (Can hardly text on it anymore), re sizes the browser when I am on the internet, and sometimes the screen wouldn't respond when I need it too, especially for calls.
I pulled the battery, deleted a bunch of apps, even a factory reset and the problems is still there.
Even though I can't really use my phone without it constantly messing up every other time, i use it everyday and have no other phone to replace it with. But motorola wants me to send it in.
What can I do to fix it?

Hello,
I have the exact same prblem as the first poster here. And I've localized the problem a bit as well. Whenever my phone is in a hot and humid environment (e.g. my pocket on a warm summer day) the touchscreen goes haywire. I've tracked the motion a few times by opening a drawing program with the keypad before it gets too bad to function. Usually it calms down after I've had the phone out and cooled off for 20 or 30minutes, but this has definitely interrupted time-sensitive and important phone calls and messaging. I would appreciate a solution that doesn't require me to buy air-conditioned pants.

Bought 2 of my children Global Droid 2 for Christmas. They have been a nightmare ever since. Have had both of them replaced, been back to Verizon store, have had them factory reset, removed all APS and still the screens freeze up ALOT. Won't let them answer the phone when someone is calling. Randomly will text a letter, shuts off, won't unlock. Now I am stuck with these phones. This is four we have been thru so I really don't want another one. But now contract is not up on these phone for 2 years. Wish Verizon would stand behind the phones THEY sold me, even if they didn't manufacture them. Any ideas?
