droid 2 is displaying "EN" in the status bar next to 3g

My droid 2 displays EN in the status bar. What does this mean, and can i get rid of it. It just started doing it. Thanks

English then? Do you have multiple languages selected in your language & keyboard settings.

I am also just now noticing this issue.  I have checked the language settings in the Language and Keyboard.  It is set to US english.  Like the post before, it only comes on when I slide open the QWERTY Keyboard under the screen.  Thoe other DROID 2 that we have does not have this happening.

I have researched this and found no related information on what setting causes the 'EN' icon to appear.  At this point, I would recommend a
