droid problems plz help

i have the first droid and my phone froze on me this morning so i took the battery out went to turn it on and all i get is a black screen, the screen light comes on and the keys at the bottom and keyboard light up but it doesnt load, is my phone junk or is there something i can do

Its very frustrating to not be able to get your device powered on. Are you still experiencing this issue? You can click here for alternate master reset instructions. Also please try charging for a couple hours and see if the device powers on. Please post with you results
