I have been trying to use calendar.  Every time I try to enter an item, I get the message I must sync to a calendar and it will not allow me to add an item in the calendar. I don't want to sync to any calendar.  But  I created a calendar at Google and do not see a way to sync.

I remember being very frustrated in the beginning, once you add an item to your google calendar via the internet you will then be able ti use your phones calendar.

Hello, please make sure your calendar is enabled. To do so, open the Calendar application, select Menu, More, My calendars.
