droid x crashing/freezing

After updating the facebook app and a few others my droidx has been crashing/freezing and sometimes come back othertimes needs a hard battery pull. now after that has happened I can't get it to even go past the droid eye. was going to uninstall the fb app but can't even get it to boot up.

help!

had to do 2 hard resets and finally it booted again normally. avoiding the fb app for a while!

That happened to me last night. It sounded off like a ring and then shut off. I turned it back on and it was locked up. Stuck on the droid eye. I had to pull the battery out on reboot. I wonder what's up?

This phone is really giving me problems. I got my first droid x launch day. Since day one. Phone reset on it own. Sometimes needs battery pull. Call verizon go through hasrle getting a brand new replacement. 2nd phones doing same crap. Was told by rep that this was only a problem with first group of phone released an my new one will not have the same problems. Sshe lied. Thi problem occurs a lot after sending texts. And doing other thing. Thought it might be apps i factory reset phone. Same problems.... now its after my30 days and verizon will only send me a refurbished phone. I have owned this phone for 33 days and never had a workin one. Now they want to send me a used one. When i pay 300 for this device..., a lawsuit is my only option at this point. Unless this problem is fixed

Wow, first post and you are already crying "lawsuit." The contract you entered with VZW protects both them and you. When you accepted the contract you and VZW are binded by the terms within. Consult a contract lawyer if you wish, I'm sure they will gladly take your money.

Just an FYI: Honey goes a lot further than *beep.* Many companies are mandated to send complaints to their legal department at the slightest hint of a lawsuit and you could very well find yourself "dead in the water" because of such threats. On the other hand, a little common courtesy and self control could resolve your problem quickly.

First post says lawsuit yes. Because i purhased a brand new phone an now hvnt gotten one thy works. After 30 days. Thy only give u refurbished. But i nevr had a working phone o begin with. Not to mention hours and days i've spent on the phone with them. And not to menion previous problem i've had in he past with my last phone which im under a year was givin 7 yes.... 7 different phones. An the problem was never resolved. T this point im just fed up.
