that's too bad. You certainly have not had the luck that many of us have. You're sure the battery is tight and secure? I assume you've done the "battery pull" process? The fact that it started doing it immediately after a reset is strange though -- I mean, I would almost expect it power off DURING the reset process. Oh, and 1 other thing --- is it the same SD Card that you've had in each phone? or did they send you a new one with each phone? If it's the same card, how about removing the card and run for a while to see if the problem occurs? That would at least rule out a SD Card problem.
sorry you're going though this.

How predictable or often does this occur? You can try running in "SAFE MODE" for a period of time just to try to rule out any 3rd party app that might be causing this.
to get into SAFE MODE:
- Power off phone
- Press and HOLD the Menu button & power up the phone
- continue holding the menu button
- The phone will come up and say SAFE MODE in lower left corner.
Run in that mode for a period that satisfies whether it reboots on its own or not. Of course, avoid launching 3rd party apps.
If it does NOT, I would start uninstalling 3rd party APPS ...
PS - to get out of SAFE MODE, just power off/on as usual.

This may seem like a strange question, but are you getting a new battery with each phone? I seem to recall Verizon replacing phones without batteries. If you're using the same battery across all three phones, that may be the source of the issue.
Best,
Mike

i had actually purchased a spare battery at the original time of purchase just in the occasion that i'm nowhere near an outlet of some sort. battery is still good and i've even tried swapping to spare just to rule out that as the issue.

One last thought -- when you did the factory RESET, did you have the option deselected to prevent your APPS from being reinstalled after the RESET -- just so it was a native/stock build? That would definitely rule out the 3rd party apps. The setting to do this is in SETTINGS / PRIVACY SETTINGS / AUTOMATIC RESTORE .... is that option turned ON or OFF? If you've been doing all these RESETS with that option selected, I would deselect it and try 1 last RESET procedure.

Wildman Posted this in another thread .. (thank you Wildman)
Follow these settings during restore to avoid issues being restored automatically.
1. Uncheck "Back up my data" under Settings/Privacy
2. Click Factory Data Reset/Reset Phone
3. After reset is complete only Active Phone but do not input Google Email information
4. Once phone is at homepage go back into Settings/Privacy and make sure the Automatic Restore option is unchecked, even if grayed out, activate "Back up my data" and quickly disable "Automatic Restore"
5. After being sure that the Automatic Restore option is off it will be safe to log into Google and you can continue installing preferred apps and custom settings.
This process will stop all applications and settings from restoring automatically and restoring original issues that usually resolve a number of issues.
