email issues

Is there a way that when I delete an email from the phone that it will delete the email from the server.  Right now it doesn't do it and I can't find a setting to do this.

Same problem here. Also having issues with sending emails from My phone.

You cannot delete messages from the server directly from the Droid X.  I have Outlook 2007 and the closest thing that comes to that is when you delete the e-mail on your phone then it moves the e-mail to the deleted items folder on your computer and then you need to empty the deleted items to remove from the server.

That is how mine is set up at least.

Is your email account set up as an IMAP Account?

I am not sure. I just set it up as a corporate sync and entered the information that it required. But i think it is the exchange web access that it is going through to communicate with the server.

I have a couple of accounts set up as imap and they still do not delete from the server from my Droid X.
