email notifications along with a few others have stopped

I noticed within the last week I no longer have the notifications from my yahoo mail gmail yim and a few other apps in my notification bar and also not getting an alert light no new apps just stopped I've signed out of everything and signed back in did reboots and battery pulls any fix for this not involving a factory reset?

Short of performing a factory reset of the phone, I recommend deleting your E-mail accounts and then powering your phone off, and back on. When the phone powers back on, go ahead and re-add the accounts. If this is also unsuccessful in restoring your alerts, your next option would in fact be that factory reset.

By chance is there and apps you have installed may be closing the blur messaging service, because this is what usually controls these features, if you have a task killer try to check and make sure this option is excluded from the auto close option may help. Also try checking any messaging apps you may have installed.

One more thing to be clear, you are recieving messages but not the notification alert?

no apps for messaging thats all stock and no task killers i open running apps and the blur is still there and yes i do get the messages but i have to go into my email or texts to see them i have them so some of them are there for a while before i know about it

Try Checking these Settings:

Go to Messaging /Left Menu / Messaging Settings / Email / Notifications / Check Notification (IF NOT CHECKED) and Select Ringtone.... The option for Vibrate is optional...

As of today I am not receiving my email notifications either. Could you give me instructions on "blur" and where I can find recent apps that I may have installed? Step by step instructions would be great. I am not a genius but better than average user.
