i go into settings and accounts where it brings me to facebook and twitter. i try to delete the accounts and get an error message that says "an error has occurred, please try again" that's it. not other instruction. any suggestions?? thanks.
Dunno if this will help; but I saw the same thing last nite when I was in a bldg where coverage was lousy (kept bouncing out of 3G). It worked fine once I got home to my WiFi network.

i dont know if you can delete them from there. You can stop them from syncing there. but to delete them i think you have to go to the facebook app and logout for example.
You *should* be able to Delete/Remove the Account using "MY ACCOUNTS" from the App Drawer. If you select REMOVE ACCOUNT it are still getting that error I would try Clearing the Data/Cache for the APP.
Menu / settings / applications / running services > click on the ALL Tab and scroll down to Facebook. Click on it. Press both the CLEAR Cache & CLEAR Data. Also, the FORCE STOP at the very top.
Now see if it allows you to Remove the account. Let us know.
