Motorola said its the apps not getting along with gingerbread. My dad has an x no problem. Our incredible 2 no problem. Droid 2 no problem.
Any ideas? I think something is wrong with the phone never had that happen before with any phone. And it gave error updateing myverizon too.

Hard to say because Angry Bird has became a problem child...
Try plugging to pc as Storage Drive and go to SD Card / .android_secure and delete file labeled smdl2tmp1.asec

Ok whats that file. .. but is it known that any app could trigger or be responsible for the phone to tell its full. Doesent the phone tell itself.
This a a data file for the market that is usually placed on card, a number of users experianced this issue and learned that this file was the issue, it hasnt been identified why it causes this issue but deleting it usually resolved the issue, the file will recreate the first time the market is usually opened so I am guessing its some kind of indexing file that causes issue if corrupted..
Read whole article here for information on the file...

Hello gina7289,
Thank you for sharing your concern with the community. I have a few questions for you so I can get clarification on this issue. May I ask what is the make & model of the device that's giving you the issue. I noticed that you mentioned several brands of Droid devices, which made it difficult for me to research. Also, may I ask what is the exact software version that you have on the problematic device? Are you downloading the apps directly from the Market or are they being restored from you gmail account once you setup the device? Please provide the additional info so I can further investigate this issue for you.
Thanks...

This isn't just Gina.
There is plenty of space on my phone, but I get "no space" and "invalid packet" errors constantly. I've been crazy busy with work so I've just been dealing with the issue, but trust me, it's there. I usually just keep retrying and eventually it will work. Huge annoyance when trying to get somethign done quick though.... the whole reason I upgraded and all.
I have a Droid Bionic System Version 5.5.886.XT875.Verizon.en.US, running Android 2.3.4

Mine Droid is doing the same thing, but it is intermittent. I usually just ignore this error and the apps still load.
