extended battery cover

Hey does anybody know how much the extended battery is from Verizon? I bought a 2700 mAh battery from handhelditems.com and the cover it came with doesn't fit on very well.

60 bucks I think... I got the 30% discount for business line and it was 40 dollars or so.

I ordered from Verizon and with a 25% discount it was $42

So if you get this extended life battery and the new cover I assume your case won't work anymore? I have a body glove case for mine I really like.
