I would assume everything is the same except depth? I have ordered on and I am trying to figure out the exact measurements to order a case from nutshell.

How much is the battery if you order it from Verizon? Im sure its not cheap. How much is the battery if you order it from a third party?

It's about 10-20 dollars cheaper through Verizon than through HTC, and outside of that there are a ton of affordable generics. Some with great ratings some with less than great ratings.

just don't get it from overstock.com....they are using stock pics and shipping generics.

They have it as sold out right now. I was considering the one on Ebay though. I think it is 22.95 or something and while I would rather have the 3500 mah Seidio, I am not sure I could justify the expense with my wife.

i'm sketchy about ebay. i got 2 1500 eris stock batteries to back up in my inc. however, my 1300 inc stock battery does last a "bit" longer than the 1500's i got on ebay. i can only assume they are generics that look stock, or they are used? i only paid $12 and they serve the purpose that i wanted them for so i didn't complain. but a 1500 should last a bit longer than a 1300....not the other way around. i just don't want to drop $25 to get a battery that barely lasts longer than the stock 1300. i also still don't want to bulk up my phone. ahhhhhhhhh....dilemas.

I returned the generic I got from overstock.com. false advertising. I would gladly chalk up $60 for a verizon extended battery if they actually made a case for it. And no not a home made case .

You can take a regular case (silicone would be easier) and cut out the part where the battery comes out.

Maybe others have posted this: I just bought a superb battery from eBay store Chichitek for 20.00 + shipping. maybe $25.00
I don't really understand whining about batteries as heavy use on all smartphones is usually solved by 1/2 spare batteries. I don't say there are not
better and cheaper out there but I can say that these 1800mAh batteries are MUCH better than the stock battery I got with the phone. Hope this helps
