The only way I know to remove the facebook contacts is to not sync your phone to facebook. Once you remove your facebook account from the phone the phone will not show those contacts anymore. In order to keep facebook from syncing to your phone you will want to goto menu>accounts and syncing>turn off syncing to facebook.
