folder sync for email on pop server

hello i am using the original droid x and the stock emailing app that came with the phone. i can not get my emails to be synced with what is actually on the server. i can send and receive emails fine but when i delete off my phone it doesnt delete them from the server. im using a road runner email address. I HAVE been able to get this to work in the past but now after getting a new phone this doesnt work anymore. I am using the same exact setting for incoming and outgoing server as i had with the old phone. also when under the email account and email settings and email delivery and go to folder sync .. nothing shows up but the work folder sync.

any help on how to fix this ?

by synced with server do you mean how often mail is fetched?

"other settings" check remove from server when deleted.

as in when i delete something from my phone i want it to be deleted from the actual account and vice versa.

and i will try that and see what happens.
