hold the text you want to forward and a menu will pop up giving you the option to forward it.

How do you forward and entire text conversation/thread?
Forwarding the entire thread, would not be an option of the stock messaging application. You can copy the threads individually by pressing and holding each one, then copying the text. You can then paste the text by pressing and holding in the message entry field.
