Remember have a solid charge before accepting so you don't have the ian plugged in I remember with 2.2 it caused a lot of phones to get stuck in the bootloop screen with the m logo so no usg plugged in to be safe

Changed the resolution on my background but the color looks better. now to see what apps if any will not work.

Ok not bad seems to flicker some when I wake it up and in web pages when you are all the way up or down and drag your finger it pulls a blue line indicating that's the end kinda neat I guess I don't like pre selected items anchored to the screen like the messaging and dailer but saved some room by deleting them off the screen and using the new icons. Love the removal of the app drawer button that didn't come up until the home screen button goes away this new bar should help from the screen jumping I did thanks to the home and page dots I hit all too often scrolling with my big hands. The haptic feedback is better and new animation with rotating the screen.

Too bad no home screen rotation and im digging the on screen zoom for the camera and the big fat insert arrow when typing better than dragging that bullseye around.

Nah! Just noticing the difference and the color is better. Matt has put out statement on the Motorola forum that it may take most of the day for everything to sync. Everything is good. Some app developers maybe little behind the eight ball now.

after hearing gb was happening, i hadn't seleted auto update but 596 was ready to dl.

i didn't dl but it apparently downloaded by itself and i've been have been getting the repeated message to install.

good thing i had enough battery charge, was showing 50% before i checked.

will i keep gtting the message to install?

Yes, although if you don't hit the "later" button quickly enough it will start on it's own.

i'm just waiting to see if any major issues keep repeating.

I'm liking things so far, seems snappier. Noticed update to swype as well, much smoother. If anyone figures out how to make menus dark I will be in heaven.

It was reported on another site that the upgrade would take you to android 2.3.340 with a system version of 4.5.596.  I had downloaded the leak a few months weeks ago am at 2.3.340 but still on system version 4.5.588.  When I check for updates it says my phone is up to date.  How do I get this full upgrade?

You are gonna have to flash phone back to factory settings so can't tell you how lol that's why I resisted the urge to get the leak. Almost thought we had tethering bit when you open the browses you are directed to a page to subscribe lol...im liking the dock more and more since I can alter the apps and when moving apps between home screens there are arrows to hover over that changes the screen.

LOL It has been clearly stated that you can only update OTA from previous version. Can't update from leak straight to official. Go back to the suite you got leak and read how top go back top stock.

Getting quadrant scores from1675 to 1815...2.2 averaged 1300-1400
