gps problems

I have problems with gps searching in google maps and navigation. It would work again when battery is pulled out and put back in after a few minutes. It happens every now and again. Anyone else have this problem?

You may want to try clearing the cache and data from the app. That might just fix the problem

On droidx i can't manage applications that are pre installed, only the ones i install from market. It was only the second or third timei used it when it gave me problems. I used an app called history cleaner to erase maps history. Hope this works out. Thanks

Every once in a while, mine seems to hang at getting directions. I would let it go for about 2 minutes, then use the back button to get out of Navigation, then retry. It has always worked the second time around.

It has only happened maybe 4 times since I have had it.

Just now i tried using it and i had to go back and start again. It kept going to sleep mode so i checked stay awake when plugg in under developement and it goes to home screen after a minute. I have had the droidx less than two weeks and the navigation seems buggy on this phone. I used navigation on other phones and works great. Hope they fix this and other issues with updates soon before my 30 days is up, hate to be stuck with this for two year. It would be ashame if they don't fix it because i like this phone
