My droid got the update pushed down automatically about 3 weeks ago, and another update this morning. My wife's droid, meanwhile, has not received any update notifications and when I go into settings and check for updates, it says that her "system is currently up to date". I bought mine in July and hers was last Christmas. DO older droids need to manually download the update or is there some other issue that her phone might have or might make it different than mine? Any help would be greatly appreciated. By the way, 2.2 seems to work fine on my droid.... maybe I am lucky judging by some of these threads?
