If you have too many apps running in the background that your not using may cause your phone to slow down and also software. I recommend removing apps your not using or either using the "Force Stop" option for apps that you want to stop running. You can also clear your cache to insure your internet browser and history is clear. I will list steps below:
To uninstall applications. (Just as a note, you can not uninstall preloaded apps)

Lastly, the software version that should be on your phone is Version: 2.15.00.07.28
To check your software you can use the steps below:
1.Click Applications
2. Click Settings
3. Click About phone
@sexired, has it always been a problem or did it just start? The suggestion about having too many programs running could be worth looking into, but may not necessarily be the issue. You could have a many apps running in the background without affecting video playback or any other function as all these processes are just "idle". However, if you have an app that is always running in the background or making frequent data connections that can be an issue.
Another issue could be your Flash Player. Did you update the flash player recently?
