help me plz

my htc incredible starting acting wierd yesterday after i took it off the charger it had erased all my apps off the screens and now today it wont let me get on the app market or will it let me use any of my apps. it tries to open the apps and then pops up a message saying that it cannot open the app and that its force closing it. can anyone please give me some advice on what i should do

The master reset will delete all data, including downloaded applications, and resets the phone back to its initial state—the state before you turned on the phone for the first time. You need to make sure you save the pictures to your memory card.

master reset.. hold the power button down and the volume down untill you get to a boot screen.. then you want to erase all the data

is this going to erase stuff off my phone like pics and texts because i dont want to erase stuff like that if its avoidable

it will erase anything on the phone's internal memory. move whatever you can to the sd card or a pc before you ever reset a phone. i would also take the sd card out when you do it.
