"YIKES!!!"
Okay, then. Once my eyes un-glazed after reading that (i still have a headache, but...), it appears that your daughter bought a phone at the Verizon store, then she found the same phone at Wal-Mart for a cheaper price, and returned the phone to Verizon.
This is where the translation goes awry...sorry, it gets messed up. Something is wrong with these numbers. I think you have gotten confused as to what is actually going on. I don't know how Verizon handles a sales return when a ported number is involved. She got her money back on the phone, but hasn't gotten her deposit back yet. She will eventually get the deposit back. She may have to settle for a new phone number. Right?
I doubt you are going to get an answer to this situation on this forum. Honestly, and please don't be offended, but you haven't made your case very clear. Perhaps, if you, shall we say, present your issue a little more clearly (okay, a LOT more clearly...

Good luck. Seriously....

That was one run-on sentence to the extreme. Periods and Capitalization are our friends.
Good Luck with your issue.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

She had a phone and a number from straight talk for a year same number, she went to a verizon store and bought one that was suppose to have better service and she liked the way Droid x looked so she bought it, the point of it all is that if she would had checked at walmart or online she would had gotten thesame phone and same service two hundred plus cheaper same company she had three days to change her mind so they gave her money back because they would not give her the differance at that store although it's the same company further more they said would not give her the phone number said because she had service at the other store for two days, they said she could put it in someone else name but could not give her the number she had all this time, hope that sound alittle better, I have a bad back and don't type alot either hope this was more clear.
