Can anyone tell me how to tether my laptop with my Incredible?

Ensure the USB connection is set to Mobile Broadband Connect.

Refer to Mobile Broadband Connect - HTC DROID Incredible ADR6300 for additional assistance.

Install / configure VZAccess Manager.
Refer to Downloading and installing VZAccess Manager - Windows for additional assistance.

• From the VZAccess Manager main screen, click Connect.
  If the VZAccess Manager application does not launch after installation, click Start > Programs (All Programs) > VZAccess Manager.

if you got the 2.2 update then you can also do it wirelessly using the 3ghotspot app that was installed with the update. either way though...it costs additional$ (just an fyi)
