Help! my text messaging contacts are suppposed to show just my phone contacts but it is listing phone and my yahoo contacts. how do i get them out of there? i called customer service and they didnt know. there has to be a way! is anyone elses doing this????
The Charge enables you to bring into your phone contacts people who you have in your social networks, such as Facebook and Yahoo. One of the accounts you can add to your phone is Yahoo messenger. Do you know if you did that? To check, press the Menu button (left-most at the bottom of the phone) then select Settings/Accounts & sync and scroll down to see what accounts are linked to the phone. IF you see a Yahoo messenger account, press it and select Delete.
I have never done that (don't have a Yahoo account, but have Facebook and Linked-In accounts as well as the required default Google Account on my phone), so I don't know whether this will automatically delete all the contacts related to your Yahoo account from your phone contacts. But give it a try!
