how to select which phone number is the "primary" number?

I've got my gmail contacts transferred over to my new incredible. The incredible uses a phone number denoted as the "primary" phone number to use the speed dial function. I am unable to find a way, either in gmail contacts or on the incredible to denote which phone number is used as the primary phone number.

Anyone know how to select the number used as "primary"?

When you're viewing the contact info, select the number you'd like to set as primary and then press and hold that number (long press). A dialogue box should pop up that allows you to set that number as the primary.
