iTunes on DroidX with headset?

I installed my iTunes songs on my DroidX with no problems. But when I play them I can't get the sound to go through my headset. When I connect the headset  the sound still comes out of the phone. Anyone know of a setting on the phone?

try going into settings and click on sound and display and in there find media audio effects and that should tell you if your headphones are showing up in your phone or not. could just be a problem with your headset.

Thank you! They weren't showing as connected. I then took the cover off and noticed they can't go all the way in with the cover on but fine with it off. Will have to either make a bigger hole for the connector or just listen to music without the cover.
