Come on...this isnt the iphone!  Of course you can.

When talking to someone, put them on speaker.  use the back button til you get to home screen and then launch your browser.  the dial pad/ phone is now up in your notification bar.  You can drag it down to hang up or press buttons, etc.

Have you tried this?  I can't get my browser to work with webpages when I was on my blackberry or droidx and on a phone call.

Hey the only way that I have been able to do that is if I enable wifi and I hook up to what ever wireless is available.  To my knowledge the 3G that it takes to access data does not work when you are talking on the phone.  As I said it will work if you are able to use a wifi connection .    Hope this helps.....

OK....please disregard my iPhone comment.  Android can't do it either.  I just got "page cannot be loaded"  using 3g and talking on the phone.

That is the way I understand CDMA (Verizon & Sprint) works. Data and voice transmissions are sent in separate bands or wavelengths. The only way to be on the Internet at the same time as a phone call is to use wifi. GSM (AT&T & T-mobile) allows the voice and data to be sent together. Do a web search for all the exact terminology.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
