The shortcut I used all the time from the main contact page disappeared. I used to be able to pull down a screen from All contacts and choose Favorites. How do I get it back?
Did you just recently upgrade from Froyo 2.2 to Gingerbread 2.3.3 for your operating system?
On my Contacts Screen across the top I have Dialer, Recent, Contacts and Favorites

Hello!
With the Gingerbread update, this shortcut may have been edited/removed by Google. However if you tap on 'Contacts' there is a 'Favorites' tab that even includes a 'Most Likely' area on top with your most contacted persons.
I do recommend checking out the Market to see if there is anything to download there that will enhance your experience with Gingerbread. The Android Market is a great tool to help in customization!

In the future, don't use backup assistant.....back your contacts up with Google....that's truly in the cloud and it beats the crap out of backup assistant
