I have the original Motorola Droid.
Out of nowhere, my texts aren't working. I have received that my text message memory is full. I didn't have many texts or threads, but I deleted them all for good measure, but continue to receive the same message.
I also have the notification that my phone is low on space. I don't think that's true. But again, for good measure, I cleared out all my pictures and videos onto my computer. And I continue to receive this message.
Probably related to the memory issues, I can't get my Google Talk app to open, not just start up, but it won't open at all. Additionally, none of my app updates will install.
I imagine this is related to the 2.2 update. I'll be taking the phone to the Verizon store tomorrow, but was curious if anyone elese was experiencing the same problems.

I too have a MotoDroid and both of my siblings do too. My sister was telling me this also about not having memory for texts, and how the mesage appears that the memory is full.
Although I dont know if this has something to do with the 2.2 update because she complained of this before the update. She hasnt downloaded the update yet so i dont know.
Best thing to do is to take it to the store and complain that is what I told my lil sis to do.
