I may be getting a new incredible soon and was wondering how well it works using tethering through vz access manager? Ive been using a envy touch almost 2 years now and has worked great. Its upgrade time and just trying to get some feedback on the incredible. Thanks in advance
The HTC Droid Incredible works pretty much the same as your Envy touch with VZ Access Manager. The Droid Incredible is slightly faster, and you will have benefits of the Android Market. The HTC Droid Incredible is actually one of the only Droid phones that allow tethering using VZ Access manager. The phone gets good reviews and offers a the business reliability of HTC, and fun and convenience of the Android Operating System.
One more important information regarding this:
If you switch over to the Incredible, Droid X or Droid 2 phones, you also have the ability to perform a hotspot. This meaning that if you are using your laptop, you don't have to teather to get on the internet...just turn the hotspot on, access the new wireless network from your phone, and boom, instant internet...no software required to install.
