music and car stereo

Are there any apps or any way that will allow the playing of music through the FM stereo in my car? Kind of like the iPod has?

BTW...my car does not have any audio jacks or USB ports.

Thank you.

If you have a ciggarette lighter then there are "FM Tuners" you can buy from places like Best Buy or Amazon.

Here are some examples:

Thank you...that's exactly what I was talking about.

So I take it that these are bluetooth enabled so I don't actually need to plug  my X into them.

I havent had not luck using those type of recievers because the reception on the radio station fluctuates but I have figured out a nice option for me, I bought the bluetooth reciever from http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/store/accessory?action=accessoryDetails&archetypeId=12253&accesso... and plugged the neadphone jack from it to the radios input jack and the power cable into unit and stuck to dash, this way I get stereo bluetooth sound quality compared to FM reception.....  Just something to concider.  I know it may sound strange but my sound quality it crystal clear this way.:smileyhappy:

I'm sorry...I'm confused. So this is a bluetooth headphone setup that you pluged into your car stereo?  If that's the case it will not work for me because my stereo does not have an input jack.

If you could clearify it a little more for me I would appreciate it.

Thanks

Sorry just read your post again, yes this is a blue tooth reciever but you can plug any output connection with a standard headphone jack into output jack, a friend of mine has a setup that has a cd and tape deck and he just uses one of the cassette tape adaptor but instead of plugging into the phone he plugs into the headphone adaptor of the bluetooth reciever and this way all he has to do is have phone in range of reciever to have it transmit.  You can also use rca, stereo head phone plug or any connection that goes to radio and that has a standard jack.

The RF recieverd are a nice ideal but I have experiance signal dropping in and out and also even cross transmission if you are been another vehicle using a simullar device... They just are unpredictible on reception.

I also own a Jabra Cruiser In-Car Bluetooth® Speakerphone and when I use it I just allow it to use its built in speaker because sound quality was better..  It works well but the FM transmitter part doesnt work that well.  The iPhone adaptor hard connects to device so you may want to look for one that will allow you to transmit to RF Transmitter by a headphone jack instad of bluetooth like most of the devices usually do because I think the bluetooth and RF transmitting to and from same device is what causes the interferance.
