my verizon rep told me re: 2.2

Below is cut from an email I recevied from my Verizon rep. I had emailed informing her of my frusteration on the mixed messages I am receiving regarding the update.

 

"Hi! I am so sorry your frustrated! That is not good at all! I am so sorry! I called tech support and talked to a Supervisor and he said that they STOPPED pushing the update out because it was causing problems with the phone. Those that got it got it and if you did not get it that was on purpose. The Supervisor said that Motorola is aware of it and they are going to re-release the 2.2 version."

 

No ETA on this re-release

That makes sense. Well, in that case, I would rather wait for all the bugs to be worked out before getting the update. I'm not gonna worry about it anymore. I guess I will get it, when I get it. Thanks for the info. :smileyhappy:

Just called and they told me it was resumed last night and that it will be pushed out today or tomorrow.
