new droid x

I'm new to the whole smartphone thing and I'm available for my new every two on 9/30. I'm thinking of getting the droid x and after reading about all of the issues w/ 2.2, I was wondering if anybody knows if the new dx from the factory will come pre installed w/ 2.2?

There actually aren't many issues with 2.2, just some bugs and glitches. A number of the problems come from people that used the leaked 2.2 before the official 2.2 came out. The Droid X is an awesome phone, but if I were you I would try to hold out a little bit longer, as close to your contract renewal as possible. That way you won't get buy a Droid X and then have the next best thing come out two days later. And to answer your question, possibly. I've had 2 Xs shipped to me, both had the latest software already on them.
