I ordered my Droid X on 8/12/2010 from a Verizon store in Buffalo.
Received first FedEx email with link to tracking online on 8/18/2010.
The phone was delivered 8/20/2010 as advised by FedEx tracker. It was shipped from West Chester PA.

I'm sorry to say but you won't get your order till around the 9/7. I don't know how you think you'll get your order the next day, especially when there's a 2-week back order.
might take a while to get your Droid X... especially if some have ordered at the beginning of August and not received their phones yet....

Do you understand how a backorder works? The phone has a 2-4 week backorder which means it won't ship until those on the list before you get their orders completed.

Ordered online on 8-17-10 will be shipped by 8-31 received email conf. Today that fedex will deliver on 8-24-10 by Pm can't wait. Im in NY, NYC to be precise. Phone coming from WestChester, Pa.

I ordered mine 08-16-10, supposed to ship 08/31. I haven't received any tracking info. Bummer! I hope that I receive a shipping notice today. I'm in Texas.
