Updates are seldomly released at midnight.  They usually go live at the begining of the business day around 8-9am.

same here, every update i've ever received from VZ came at midnight. i really don't understand all the ****** around on th GB release.

I'm gonna guess that the updates will be released to only certain groups of X owners at first.  This is done so that their servers aren't overloaded at the beginning. Then after the first 4-5 groups have the update, then they will allow the update to be accessed manually by using your "X" to check for updates.

Updates always go in stages, it's never all at once. Just because you don't have it now doesn't mean it isn't coming or that others did not get it.

They're not as bad here as I've seen on other sites, especially with the leaks. They install these things then invariably start coming unglued as soon as an official OTA is announced. "Is it gonna mess up my phone?!?! What do I do?!??!" LOL. Then they're in panic mode trying to unroot and whatnot. But as soon as the next leaked version comes out, they're like, " I need, I want, I must have..." They're like a bunch of little girls.
