Anyone have a problem where you could not receive a text from just 1 person? I have checked spam blocking and nothing there. If you pull up that contact it will then display texts but does not notify when receive texts.
Are you saying that your RECEIVED the Text but not Notified? Not clear from your question. Which Text App are you using?
Yes the texts are there but you don't know you have received any unless you pull up that contact. Not sure what text app it is. It is actually my sons phone-I can check on that
I would start by Clearing Cache for that texting APP, once you find out what it is ... Also, maybe he set the Notification Tone to "silent" ??? You need to go into CONTACTS to see that ... Select the CONTACT and press the Menu for more options ..(I believe) ... Somewhere in there is a Notification "tone" ... (I don't use TEXTING much, so would have to dig deeper into this.)
I just looked into those a little deeper ... CONTACTS does NOT allow for individual Notification tones for TXT messages ... So we need to look deeper into the TXT APP he is using ... let us know which APP .. he may need to looking into a more robust TXT App like HandCent SMS (free) ..
