ON THE NOTIFICATION BAR IT KEEPS SAYING THAT THREE TEXT MESSAGES HAVE NOT BEEN SENT. I HAVE RESET THE PHONE AND ALSO PULLED THE BATTERY WITH THE PHONE TURNED OFF. THE MESSAGE IS VERY ANNOYING CAUSE EVERY TIME I SEND A TEXT MESSAGE IT POPS UP. HOW CAN I FIX THIS NO MATTER WHAT I RESET OR DO IT IS NOT GOING AWAY. EVEN VERIZON COULDNT FIGURE THIS ONE OUT!!!!!!

This is discussed on https://supportforums.motorola.com/thread/41221?start=45&tstart=0 (this is on the Pro but others report it on the Droid 2). It can be "fixed" by doing a hard reset (which is extreme) but then the problem can recur again.
Others suggest using Handcent of Go SMS instead which don't seem to have this problem. In the thread, there is also the suggestiion that you can download Go SMS, mark all threads as read in that app, and then delete Go SMS. Others suggest that doesn't work.
So no great solution.
