phone starts texting or calling contacts on its' own

Does anyone else have this issue? It's driving me crazy and I hate this phone. It is the worst phone I have ever owned.  It will randomly call contacts -- it will randomly text contacts...  just texted one with this message; 

Fttt. Ttttt ftttft t t tctttct 

Or when I sign in with my swipe it will stop and start doing it's own thing, locking me out of the phone.

the other night it called a friend of mine at 1AM.

went into verizon  they won't do anything about it because it has to "misbehave" in front of them.  They have no proof of what's happening.

do I have to live with this crappy phone for another 1 year 10 months and 2 weeks?

BTW called customer service.  they close at 11PM

could be a defective touch screen. Make sure you are not using an anti virus app and no text messaging app. Do a master reset, if same thing, call them and say you already did a master reset and you need a replacement since screen moves on its own.

Mine was doing the same thing had a text messaging app called Chomp that  I had installed so I uninstalled no problem so far.
