I think you can find a solution in my reply to the post titled "Importing MP3 music files from PC to DROID X", here:
Just use the same method described in my reply to transfer the pictures from your LG to your PC, and then use the same method to transfer pictures from your PC to your Droid X.
Please report back here what does and does not work (and I, or someone else, will try to help further).
I just put them on my computer then transfer my videos and picutres with no problem. I also was able to put some of my PDF's on the phone as well.

You can upload the pcitures to your online pix account. Then from the account online, send them to your new Droid X. Second way would be to email the pictures to your self & then forward them to the Droid X.
