Please tell me there's some way to go back to 2.1? My phone is 10 times slower after getting 2.2, and the music player is broken, among other things. There's no way to root 2.2 yet, so that's not an option either.
Is there any way to roll back the update?

Amen! Some of my ringtones are gone and half the time the phone won't ring at all, it simply announces who's calling and if I'm not holding the thing I don't hear it!
The battery life is terrible. It's a mess!

and yes, a factory reset has helped MANY people with issues. some still have a few bugs...but a lot less and others did a factory reset and now love the update. it's worth trying. you're prolly spending as much time trying to fix everything as you would just to set it all back up??

you lose everything. pics, apps, settings, etc. you get a device that is just like when you bought it (except it should still have version 2.2). backup up whatever you don't want to lose. if you store everything on the sd card then it's not too bad of a process. you'll just have to get your contacts, set your email back up and reinstall all of your apps.
