problem with calls on droid 2 global

Hi, I am new to this community but I had a droid 2 global for about two months months now, and Tomorrow I should get my 4th replacement phone which bring the total to 5 phones!!!! When I go to answer a call on my phone, you can not hear anything out of the earpiece but it you flip the phone over, sound will be coming out the back speaker (the phone is not on speaker phone). Also, the phone reboots, the icons disappears, or the will show that I have no service at all when there is full service here. Just don't know if it's me having bad luck or what!!!!

It sounds like you have some bad luck with the phone. Generally after a couple of devices doing the same thing, we check for common denominators between the phones. I would try master resetting the phone and using it without any applications and without the memory card (yes the memory card can cause the phone to reset). I have seen in some other forums that if you take out your SIM card too, that may help. I would try all of that and see which is causing your problems. This phone is not known to be problematic, but I know some new software is in the works, so keep your eye out for that. I do not know the ETA for the new software, but I have spoken with Motorola, and they confirmed this with me over the phone.
