Hook up your phone to your computer via the usb cord and transfer over the .mp3 to any folder in your phone.
Download the app "Ringdroid."
It will pull all .mp3s to a list and you can set it as a ringtone.
You can also edit the .mp3 to set which part of the song you want.

You could also email yourself the ringtone through a messaging app. Just from your gmail or any other email account in the TO spot enter in 10digitnumber@vzwpix.com and insert/attach ringtone. Then send it. Where it says 10digitnumber enter in your 10 digit cell phone number. When it arrives to your phone hold your finger down on the outside of the sound & a menu should pop up. Select "save to sd card"
